Are you looking to work for a respected HR technology company with a start-up’s mindset and growth plans? The Marketing Director provides business line support for planning marketing programs, channel support, and sales support with one or many of our markets including Corporate HR, Catalog Sales, Government, and Education. This role will report to the VP of Marketing. The ideal candidate will interact with sales, product development, customer service, current customers and potential customers to ensure that go-to-market campaigns and marketing messaging accurately reflects benefits and features from every user perspective and persona. The Marketing Manager/Director is responsible to define and deliver a product marketing plan that combines an in-depth understanding of the market, competitive environment and consumers for a group of products.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Working with the VP of Marketing to create marketing plans and a schedule of major initiatives, launches, events, and thought leadership within select markets.
•Generating leads to support sales growth through go-to-market campaigns leveraging case studies, data sheets, whitepapers, webinars, and social media.
•Coordinating with the Product & Marketing teams to determine customer requirements to create compelling messaging for specific assessment products and software functionality.
•Providing product positioning training and materials for Sales and customer service.
•Developing marketing emails, sales presentations, scripts, etc.
•Attending company-sponsored events and industry conferences.
•Being active on social media as a voice for assessment and innovative hiring practices.
•Capturing performance metrics for all marketing campaigns.
•Supporting channel partners with sales collateral and training.
•Collaborating cross functionally across teams, customer groups, and stakeholders.
Skills and Specifications
•Exceptional knowledge of sales, marketing, and digital trends
•Strong writing, leadership and project management skills to craft successful campaigns
•Excellent analytical and presentation skills
•Ability to efficiently work under pressures and deadlines
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build consensus across Marketing, Sales and Executive teams
•Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
•Experience with HR software or industry a plus
Education and Qualification
•Degree in marketing, business or related field from an accredited university.
